REGISTRATION FEES
Early bird registration has been extended to June 1, 2014.
- Registration fee: CAD 500 (Early bird registration fee: $450)
- Student Registration fee: CAD 275 (Early bird registration fee: $250)
- The student registration fee is subject to submission of proof of current (2014) registration for a degree at a recognised university.
- Students must provide an official letter from their institution signed by their Registrar verifying their status as a FULL TIME student and it must be submitted when registering.
The delegate registration fee includes participation in all sessions, access to the posters and exhibition during the conference, conference bag, name badge, conference proceedings, coffee & tea during the official session breaks, lunch, attendance at the welcome reception, attendance at the conference banquet and special events during the conference.
ACCOMPANYING PERSON'S REGISTRATION FEE
- Registration fee: CAD 100
The adult accompanying person registration fee includes a name badge, conference bag, attendance at the welcome reception and attendance at the conference banquet. Children are welcome to attend the gala dinner. This fee does not include participation in conference sessions, lunches or conference teas/coffees.
Registration fees are refundable until July 17, 2014.
ICWIP 2014 TRAVEL GRANTS
The IUPAP Working Group tries to support a significant number of delegates. The number sponsored depends on the funding that can be raised internationally.
Should I apply for support through other agencies?
Yes funding through ICWIP2014 is necessarily limited, and we very much hope that you will be able to raise funds for your attendance from your University, Institute, national funding agency, or other sources.
Availability of funding
All Travel grants are allocated subject to the availability of funds.
How and when can I apply for Travel grants?

Your Country Team Leader will tell you if you will be part of the Country Team,

Complete the form. A reminder: omitting requested information will make it difficult
for the Travel grants team to make a decision.
Mail the form to the contact addresses on the form by the application deadline.
How and when will I know if I have a Travel grant?
First ICWIP 2014 Notification on Travel grants: March, 2014
Second ICWIP2011 Notification on Travel grants: To be decided
The International Organising Committee will notify you and your Country Team Leader
whether your Travel grant application is successful or not.
The First notification will cover those delegates most in need of Travel grants from
available funding.
The Second notification will distribute any further funds.
Once you know that your application has been approved, please send an email to
icwip2014@wlu.ca saying that you accept the travel grant and that you will be attending
the conference
What is funded?
If your application is successful, the following will be partially or fully
funded:
One return economy class airfare from your country
Travel for one person from Toronto or Kitchener airport to your accommodation on your
arrival, and back for your departure, if these fall within the conference period
Registration fees will be waived
Accommodation for one person, with 2 participants sharing a room in the campus
residences, including breakfast;
All other costs should be carried by you. Please note that if you are sponsored, and if
you choose to upgrade or extend any of the above, the cost will be for your own
account.
