ICWIP 2014 will be held on the campus of Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Canada.

Waterloo is a 1.5 hour drive away from Toronto, Canada’s largest and most diverse city, and Niagara Falls, home of the world-famous waterfalls.

The city is home to two leading Canadian universities (Laurier and the University of Waterloo). It is also home to the world-famous Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics (PI), which has an international reputation for excellence in research in physics. Waterloo lies in the heart of Canada’s Technology Triangle. The region is internationally recognized as a hub of advanced technology, and also has one of Canada’s highest concentrations of manufacturing activity. The business base is diverse, ranging from large multinationals to countless small start-up companies on the cutting edge of innovation. There are roughly 800 companies in the high-tech sector in Waterloo including global leaders such as Google, Maplesoft, ComDev, Christie Digital, OpenText and others.
